Chef Chris has a constant desire to keep food delicious, unique, and interesting for those with dietary restrictions. With a love of Asian ingredients and an understanding of how to blend them with American classics, Chef Chris wanted to create a dish that looked and tasted like traditional Chinese Sesame Chicken and our Sesame Cauliflower was born.
Chef Chris Hylton
Chef Chris Hylton, an immigrant from Kingston, Jamaica, began his culinary career in Los Angeles, CA at age 18 and most recently came to Raleigh from Washington, DC where he was the Executive Chef at OYA Restaurant & Lounge. Prior to making his way to the east coast, Chef Hylton held a number of culinary and management positions at various restaurants in Los Angeles including Mobay, Kas-bah, and Linq. His specialty is pairing recognizable foods with international flavors and ingredients to create unique dishes that are powerful in flavor and beautiful in design. Chef Hylton uses local and seasonal ingredients whenever possible and is constantly evolving the menu to include the latest in food trends and seasonal delicacies.
